I Want My UBI

As Congress concocts penny-ante schemes to pretend to give Americans money, Jazz, James, and Apache answer the question: why doesn’t one party take up this immensely popular issue? Why, when 3.5 million Americans have lost their jobs and 30% have lost income, don’t the Democrats- or the Republicans- propose simply giving Americans money to get by until the pandemic is over?
